The mining industry's ski competition in giant slalom, organized at the Cieńków Ski Station in Wisła, has already become a tradition. This year's edition was held under the honorary patronage of the Government Plenipotentiary for the restructuring of the hard coal mining industry, Secretary of State at the Ministry of State Assets, Adam Gawęda. The Minister personally honored us with his presence, supported the players, presented prizes and congratulated not only the best ones.

The competition of the competitors taking part in the competition was accompanied, just like last year, by the PGG Family town, where the program partners presented themselves. There were also partners who helped organize the competition, including GSU S.A. GSU Ubezpieczeniowa Sp. z o. o., or SUPERPOLISA GSU Sp. z o. o.. There were animations for the youngest and slightly older ones. There were performances by a mining orchestra and a highlander band. There was no shortage of emotions not only among the players, but also among the fans and supporters of the event participating in numerous competitions and games with attractive prizes.

25 teams from mines belonging to PGG and JSW took part in Saturday's competition. For the first time, an open category was organized, in which everyone could take part and try their hand at the slalom route.

Ultimately, the first team place, cups and medals were won by the representatives of JSW S.A. KWK Knurów Szczygłowice. The second team place was won by the players of Kopalnia PGG S.A. KWK ROW I, and the third one - PGG S.A. KWK ROW II.
