The Industrial Development Agency S.A. signed loan agreements with Nadwiślańska Tourist Agency Sp. z o.o. worth over PLN 12 million in total. This marks the beginning of NAT’s investment plan, aimed at repositioning its property portfolio, increasing asset value and systematically improving the quality of its hotel product. The financing will cover the redevelopment and modernisation of Hotel*** NAT Kołobrzeg and the upgrade of the heating infrastructure at Hotel*** NAT Piwniczna Zdrój.
Nadwiślańska Tourist Agency is entering its next stage of development, founded on active management of its hotel portfolio value and transformation of the company’s management model. NAT’s strategy combines the implementation of a long-term investment programme focused on repositioning properties, strengthening their revenue potential and improving operational efficiency. The aim is to increase asset value, build lasting competitive advantages and strengthen the NAT brand’s position on the Polish hotel market.
Poland’s accommodation base is responding to growing interest in tourism and ever-higher guest expectations. According to Ministry of Sport and Tourism data, from January to November 2025, Poland’s tourist accommodation facilities hosted 9.9% more people than in the same period a year earlier. Rising demand creates room for further growth while increasing the importance of investing in the quality of existing infrastructure.
– Poland has enormous tourism potential, and harnessing it depends, among other things, on the quality of properties already operating on the market. Industry growth does not always mean building new hotels. Modernising properties that have attracted guests for years thanks to their excellent locations is equally important. Such investments enable regions to better realise their tourism potential and strengthen the position of established market players – says Krzysztof Telega, Vice-President of the Management Board of ARP S.A.
NAT launches new investments
The agreements between ARP S.A. and Nadwiślańska Tourist Agency cover two projects worth over PLN 12 million in total. For NAT, this is the first stage of a broader investment programme focused on increasing portfolio value and repositioning key assets.
NAT is currently focusing on modernising Hotel*** NAT Kołobrzeg. The works include comprehensive modernisation of the property and improving its technical and functional standards.
Kołobrzeg, one of Poland’s key leisure and spa destinations, is strategically important to NAT. The hotel modernisation is intended to combine improved safety and standards with the development of its commercial potential. The company views the project as an investment in the property’s stronger market position and its ability to deliver better operating results in the years ahead.
The second project is modernising the heat source at Hotel*** NAT Piwniczna Zdrój. The project will include a comprehensive boiler-room renovation, installation of new heating boilers and replacement of the central heating system. The investment will improve the property’s energy efficiency, reduce operating costs and enhance the safety of its technical infrastructure.
NAT focuses on business-driven portfolio value growth
Financing from ARP is part of Nadwiślańska Tourist Agency’s broader transformation strategy.
- We are not interested in cosmetic modernisation. We are launching a process of genuinely repositioning our properties. We want to fully realise the potential of our locations, increase the value of our real estate and build lasting competitive advantages. Financing secured from ARP is the first stage of a long-term investment programme and an important step towards changing our properties’ market position – says Daniel Mączyński, President of the Management Board of Nadwiślańska Tourist Agency Sp. z o.o.
As NAT’s President emphasises, the investments in Kołobrzeg and Piwniczna-Zdrój are not isolated actions, but the beginning of a long-term development programme.
– We have a portfolio of properties located in some of the country’s most attractive tourist destinations and want to fully realise their business potential. Our goal is to build a modern, coherent and profitable hotel portfolio. We will focus on investments that significantly increase property value, improve operating results and strengthen market positions – adds Daniel Mączyński.
– Modernising a hotel with several decades of operation behind it is not merely a cosmetic refresh, but above all a major investment in installations, fire safety and the building’s energy efficiency. That is why we proposed financing with a long grace period and attractive terms, enabling the company to carry out the necessary works without placing an excessive burden on its current operations – says Tomasz Król, Director of the Entrepreneur Services Centre in Katowice, ARP S.A.
