Summary and results of Saturday's Competition - Wisła Cieńków - March 7, 2015
Giant Slalom ski competition for the Cup of the President of Kompania Węglowa S.A. have already become a tradition in the mining industry. This year they took place on March 7 at the Cieńków Ski Station in Wisła. The weather was good - competitors from 13 plants belonging to KW S.A. competed in beautiful sunshine and on a well-prepared slope. and capital-related companies. The atmosphere was truly sporty. There was no shortage of good humor, skills and fans, the most active of which turned out to be the team from KWK Marcel, which was appreciated by the organizer with a nice surprise.
The best team was the KWK CHWAŁOWICE branch, which obtained the highest number of points - 1,358. Also in the box were the KWK MARCEL branch (2nd place - 1,340 points) and the KWK JANKOWICE branch (3rd place - 1,322 points).
The youngest competitor taking part in the competition was Stańczak Wojciech - representative of Haldex S.A., and the oldest was Barański Adam from Centrala KW S.A.
In the individual competition, the best times were achieved by the representatives of KWK Marcel. The best woman was Barbara Smusz with a time of 35.90, and the best man was Marek Szczyrba - time 28.88. In this category, there was a requirement that the competitor must be a current employee of the Branch or Headquarters of Kompania Węglowa S.A.. The best time of the competition was the result of Maciej Bugiel, who represented the Headquarters of Kompania Węglowa. He covered the route in 27.66 seconds.
The prizes for the players were presented by: Rafał Patyk - representative of Kompania Węglowa S.A., Piotr Wilchelm - President of NAT, and Krzysztof Brożyna - Director of SN Cieńków
Both the teams and the best players received diplomas, medals, cups and prizes donated by sponsors, for which we would like to thank them very much.
