Skiing competition in giant slalom - 2nd Cup of the Minister of Energy - ended with the victory of PGG S.A. O/KWK ROW I
Once again, the giant slalom ski competition for the Minister of Energy's Cup was held today at the Cieńków Ski Station.
For the second time, the Minister of Energy took patronage over the mining industry ski competition, which is organized by NAT at SN Cieńków.
This year, 227 competitors from 21 mining plants entered the competition. The score was 207 and they fought for victory.
The weather (it's probably a tradition) was good!! Frost, sun, good moods and healthy competition contributed to good fun.
The competition started at 10:00 a.m. VIP reunion. Today's competition was started by Mr. Dariusz Kubiak - Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Poland, who took 3rd place in this category. The best was Leszek Kołoczek - a representative of one of the sponsors - GSU.
The registered competitors competed in 10 categories:
group I - girls up to 12 years old (born in 2006 and younger)
group II - boys up to 12 years of age (born in 2006 and younger)
group III - girls aged 13 - 19 (born in 1999 - 2005)
group IV - boys aged 13 - 19 (born in 1999 - 2005)
group V - women above 20 years old (born in 1998 and older)
group VI - retirees (regardless of age)
group VII - EMPLOYEES - women (regardless of age)
group VIII - EMPLOYEES - men aged above 41 years old (born in 1977 and older)
group IX - EMPLOYEES - men aged 31 - 40 (born in 1978 - 1987)
group X - EMPLOYEES - men aged up to 30 (born 1988 and younger)
The best team of this year's competition were the PGG S.A. players. o/ KWK ROW I. The JSW S.A. team took second place. KWK Knurów Szczygłowice, and the third place went to PGG S,A, father KWK ROW II.
Among the Competitors, current employees, the best competitor was Potas Joanna (time 29'77), and the best competitor of Skupień Damian (time 24'41) - both are representatives of the winning team of PGG S.A. o/ KWK ROW I.
The best times of this year's competition - the best competitor was Damian Skupień - ROW I, ahead of Paweł Klimas from the Knurów Szczygłowice mine and Mirosław Patas.
The youngest and oldest player were also awarded. The youngest participant to complete the competition was Dominka Liebchen (JSW S.A. KWK Ruch Borynia), and the oldest was Andrzej Mazurek, from the same plant.
