One of the most interesting places in Wielka Czantoria - it is located in close proximity to the mountain cable car, so getting here is not difficult. It may be a different matter to remain completely calm when meeting face-to-face - or rather face-to-face - with proud birds of prey.
"Anatum" in Ustroń combines a rehabilitation center for winged hunters, a small breeding farm and a kind of show pen. Tourists visiting the facility can see eagles, owls, falcons, buzzards, hawks, kestrels, ruffed owls and little owls up close. About 40 birds of various species live in wooden houses. The braver ones can take the aerial predator in their arms - wearing a protective glove, of course - and take an extraordinary (additionally paid) photo.
Naturally, the hosts provide a lot of interesting information: both about nature and about the art of falconry - arranging birds of prey to participate in hunts organized by people, which over time also became an important form of protecting endangered animals.
