One of the main reasons for the popularity of Kołobrzeg is one of the most beautiful beaches by the Polish sea. It is characterized by fine, light sand, clean water encouraging swimming, good infrastructure and a width of up to 100 meters. The Kołobrzeg beach is divided into the Western Beach, the Central Beach and the Eastern Beach located next to the Podczele estate. The most popular of them is the Central Beach, the quietest is the Eastern Beach, and if you like sunsets, be sure to be on the Western Beach. The promenade in Kołobrzeg - the most popular walking area among patients and tourists - has been thoroughly renovated. Thanks to the completion of the last stage of work, the seaside resort can claim to have the longest promenade in Poland. The last section of the Kołobrzeg promenade is the pride of our city. In 2022, it underwent major modernization, which cost almost PLN 17 million. It runs 1,100 meters long, between the strip of dunes on the sea side and A. Fredro Park from the south. A wall was built in this place to effectively stop sand from entering the promenade. An interesting feature of this part of the promenade are white deckchairs made of a special composite, resembling sea waves. Special sails are installed above the deckchairs to protect against the hot sun in summer. An important element of the infrastructure of this part of the promenade is a descent to the beach adapted for disabled people and bicycle racks.
