On the ridge of Cieńków, there grows a Magical Tree – a unique, over 100-year-old wild cherry tree that has become a symbol of love and one of the most picturesque spots in Wisła. It is not only a popular viewpoint but also a place shrouded in legend, attracting tourists, photographers, and seekers of extraordinary stories.
From Hotel*** NAT Wisła, we have two options to reach this unique place:
- A walk along the blue trail from Wisła Malinka
The route starts at the lower station of the Cieńków lift, where there is parking. The distance is about 2 km, and the journey to the top takes about 20 minutes. It is worth remembering that this option leads entirely along a road. - Going up by cable car to Cieńków
For those preferring a more comfortable option, we recommend taking the Cieńków cable car. Upon reaching the top, you should head to the left, and after walking about 400 meters, we will find ourselves by the Magical Tree.
Next to the tree, there is a viewpoint from which you can admire the vast panorama of the Silesian Beskids. Nearby is also the famous Cieńków Bench, beloved by tourists for its fairy-tale views and as an ideal place to rest.
However, it is not only the beautiful landscapes that make this place unique – the Magical Tree hides a romantic story within it.
According to legend, any couple who kisses under this tree will experience eternal love and happiness. It is said that many people have tested this legend for themselves.
