traditional Christmas Eve dinner by candlelight and a richly set table:
soup: borscht with dumplings, mushroom soup with noodles
hot dishes: carp in golden breading, cod in lemon sauce, chicken fillet stuffed with mushrooms and rosemary, cabbage rolls with groats and mushrooms, croquettes with cabbage, roasted potatoes with thyme, cabbage with peas, pierogi with cabbage and mushrooms, pierogi with smoked cottage cheese and onion garnish
cold appetizers buffet: cod in aspic, fish Greek style, herring in oil with onion and raisins, spiced herring, dried fruit compote, salad mix with vegetables and dressing, bread, butter, salty cupcakes with salmon and dill, trout mousse with lemon jelly on toast
dessert buffet: traditional cheesecake with orange icing, poppy seed cake with dried fruits, makówki (poppy seed pudding), Christmas cake with apple and cinnamon
