Salt caves (grottoes) are rooms lined with salt blocks. They combine the features of a sauna and a brine bath. A special heating and ventilation system evaporates salt, saturating the air with many minerals and trace elements. For example, the iodine concentration there is several times higher than at the seaside. The specific microclimate inside the salt cave is characterized by exceptional bacteriological purity.
